- Verifies employment at one (1) employer
- Verifies job title and dates of employment
- BrightScreen attempts to verify the provided employment information using one or more of the following methods:
- Consumer-permissioned verification
- Automated verification systems
- Direct contact with the employer or their authorized representative
- If we cannot retrieve a verification from a primary source, we may directly request supporting documentation from the applicant and pass that to you. The search will be flagged to indicate that the primary source could not verify the information.
- Number of Attempts: 5
- If we are directed to a third-party verification source:
- our Third Party Fees policy may apply
- we will follow the instructions provided to us at the time of order before incurring charges
- Will not be processed if "do not contact" is selected by the applicant during the ordering process
Minimum Information Needed to Begin Production
- Full name of the previous employer
- Specific address of the employer
- Phone number of the employer
Ways to Enhance Success Rate
- Provide the full name of the direct supervisor
- Provide a direct number to the direct supervisor
