Specifications

• Verifies attendance or graduation at one (1) educational institution in relation to one (1) diploma or degree
• Attempts to verify the issuance of a diploma or degree, or verifies current/previous enrollment
• BrightScreen utilizes one or more of the following methods:
  • Consumer-permissioned verification
  • Automated verification systems
  • Direct contact with the institution or their authorized representative
• Number of Attempts: 5
• If we cannot retrieve a verification from a primary source, we may directly request supporting documentation from the applicant and pass that to you. The search will be flagged to indicate that the primary source could not verify the information.
• If we are directed to a third-party verification source:
  • our Third Party Fees policy may apply
  • we will follow the instructions provided to us at the time of order before incurring charges

• Full name of the educational institution
• Specific address of the educational institution (if multiple locations)
• Phone number of the educational institution

Ways to Enhance Success Rate

• Provide the email address of the Registrar
• Provide the direct phone number of the Registrar
